Christina A. McGill - Of-Counsel

An interest in law came early for Christina.  In Junior High, she was able to participate in a juvenile offender program representing another juvenile who had committed a petty theft.  Later on in high school, being personally deposed as a witness to a criminal act further sparked the desire to know more.

Christina attended Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania where she graduated through an accelerated program in three years having earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business & Management with a focus in Spanish.  She capitalized on the opportunities available to her by studying abroad in Spain and Ireland, completing an internship in an Irish law firm during her studies there.  After college, Christina relocated to the Philadelphia area and joined a Complex Liability, Fidelity, and Surety section of a large firm as a paralegal for a year.  Working on international cases led her to an amazing experience living for months in New York City as the firm prepared their case in the Federal Southern District of New York.  This experience solidified Christina’s desire to practice law.

In 2002, Christina began her legal education at the Dickinson School of Law, Pennsylvania State University’s law school.  During her legal education she work as a law clerk, summer associate, and independent contractor for various firms in the Harrisburg and Philadelphia areas.  Upon graduating law school in 2005, Christina relocated here to the central Ohio area with her husband Jared.

Initially working as a legal intern at Stebelton, Aranda & Snider, Christina officially joined the Fairfield County legal arena in 2006.  She was an associate working with the now dissolved firm of Krooner & Smith, LPA after passing the bar exam.  It was there that Christina began working in her core areas of domestic relations, juvenile, and criminal law.  In 2009, Christina opened up her own law firm, The Law Office of Christina A. McGill, LLC.  The firm focused on Christina’s domestic relations, juvenile, and criminal expertise.  This experience and focus was the perfect fit for Christina’s transition in the legal realm to serving as a Magistrate Fairfield County Domestic Relations Court from 2018-2021.

Christina lives locally in rural Lancaster, Ohio with her husband, Jared and their six boys.  Christina enjoys spending time enjoying her children’s sporting activities, traveling, and time outdoors.
